Schnörkelos, perfekt und auf den Punkt gebracht. Die Stimmung fesselt einen von Sekunde eins an und das Album vergeht wie im Flug, was vorallem an der Einfachheit der Musik liegt, die dennoch eine gewisse Komplexität an den Tag legt, und an der einzigartigen, vermittelten Stimmung. 9/10 SleazeMetal Alle Fans werden es lieben und neugierige sollten hier unbedingt einmal probe hören, wo “Empire” draufsteht ist Bombast der hohen Schule angesagt! 8,5 |

First reviews comin in. Pitriff With all the other albums that are flooding in to close out the year it is Chasing Shadows that I continually find myself being drawn back to. 10/10 Heavy-Metal Ich habe lange nicht mehr solch geilen Hard Rock gehört. Wer in CHASING SHADOWS nicht mal reinhört, ist gerade selbst Schuld, denn ihm entgeht ein musikalischer Leckerbissen. 9/10 Hotdigits A must if you enjoy hard rock/metal in the style of Cornerstone, Astral Doors, Masterplan et al 4/5 Hardharderheavy Mit Chasing Shadows legen Empire ein Werk vor das durchaus das Zeug zum Klassiker hat. Jeder Hard Rock Fan sollte sich das Album ins Regal stellen. 6/7 Hellspawn Melodic rock and masterly craftsmanship. I think it's unnecessary to use any more superlatives. It simply is the perfect release for fans in this genre and that's why "Chasing shadows" will be on top of my 2007 list. 95/100 |

The new album will be called "CHASING SHADOWS" and is ready for a release on november 23rd by "Metal Heaven". The Line Up is as follows: Doogie White - Vocals Neil Murray - Bass Mike Terrana - Drums Rolf Munkes - Guitars German fans can already preorder the album at "Chasing Shadows@Amazon" US and Canada at "Chasing Shadows@cdinzane" As soon as I have more information about other countries I'll post it here. I have finished mixing the new Empire album now. It's done and it sounds amazing. I'm pleased with this album. It's really wonderful. I will post lots of news about the Line up, songs, cover, release date etc in the near future. It was fantastic to work with the guys and the result was worth every single minute of hard work. | NEW ALBUM |

Right now we have started recording vocals for the upcoming EMPIRE CD which will be out in spring '06. Tony Martin has done some outstanding vocal performances so far and as far as I can see the third EMPIRE album will be the "BEST" EMPIRE album, ever. It's gonna be a HELL of an album. The amazing drum parts this time were delivered by my Razorback bandmate Andre Hilgers (AXXIS & SILENT FORCE). Check this guys website "HERE" In december Neil Murray will arrive in my studio to do his Bass parts (Looking forward to this!). Mixing is sheduled for the end of december. More news on that soon. |

Empire signed a deal with AOR Heaven Records. It's planned to have a new album out at the end of this year. I'm happy to say that Tony Martin (Ex-Black Sabbath) will handle all the vocals and Neil Murray (Ex-Whitesnake) will play the Bass again. More details soon!! I had lots of work with the new album like hard stuff, strange stuff, crazy stuff and funny stuff. But I had the chance to work again with some extraordinary musicians so that all of the weird stuff had no chance to make me losing my way. Thank You. It's so much easier to compose songs if you know they will be played "much better" than standard. So I guess, what I wanted to say is that the new album has been finished and sounds amazing!! Hi everyone! The recordings for the new Empire CD have been finished. It was a great pleasure to work with Tony Martin in the studio. We had "lots" of laughs and he did an amazing vocal performance! You'll love it! The title of the album will be " TRADING SOULS" Next week I'll go to Cologne and stay in Stefan's studio for about 11 days to mix the Songs. I'm sure we will have some fun. It was great the last time! (Especially on the last day when everything was finished, I guess it was a sort of Obstler - 47Vol%) I had the chance to see first pics of the artwork done by Mhoriz and you will be surprised how good is the guy! I hopefully have some stuff to upload for you when I'm back from Cologne. Cheers Rolf |
